ELIT Language Services is the first Greek company to receive ISO 20771 certification for legal translation services
ELIT Language Services gained International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 20771:2020 Legal translation — Requirements certification for its legal translation services from Lloyd’s Register Quality Insurance.
ELIT Language Services is thus the first language services company in Greece to receive certification under the ISO 20771:2020 standard, which was published in February 2020. This certification not only verifies compliance with the standard’s requirements, but also reaffirms ELIT’s thorough commitment to delivering quality translations.
Haris Ghinos, the CEO of ELIT Language Services, emphasised that “this new certification should be seen as recognition of the efforts of our team of expert translators and reviewers – their legal studies, their knowledge of legal systems and terminology – along with the technical skills ELIT’s translation-management team has mastered in recent decades.”
